She has extensive experience in drafting and prosecution, FTO and patentability searches searches, and assisting clients with IP strategy and management. Caitie has worked in various areas such as AI, software, biotech, wearable tech, cleantech, fintech, and medical devices.

With a practice focused on patent protection, Rachel regularly conducts patentability searches, patent prosecution, patent landscaping, and IP strategy projects.

Daniel’s practice focuses on patent and trademark prosecution. He has extensive experience in drafting applications, responding to Office actions both domestic and international, and preparing and performing FTO searches, as well as helping start-up companies protect and monetize their inventions.

Jared’s practice focuses on IP strategy, patent drafting and prosecution, and IP agreements. His extensive background and training in mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering with his passions as an outdoorsman and builder enable him to quickly grasp and clearly communicate the technical aspects of any client technology.

Osman’s practice covers all areas of intellectual property with an emphasis on patent drafting and prosecution. Similarly, Osman’s patent interests cover a spectrum of subject matter ranging from simple engineering to high technology, telecommunications and information technology, and materials science. His practice has further included trademark application preparation and prosecution, intellectual property licensing and assignment agreements, patentability, infringement and freedom-to-operate opinions, franchise agreements, and select corporate/commercial services. Osman has also supported clients on contentious matters involving patent or trademark disputes. Osman is passionate about working with startups, SMEs and large entities in assisting them with their intellectual property needs.

Gurbir handles patent and trademark prosecution, drafting patentability and FTO options, IP analytics and intelligence searching at Own Innovation. His roles include building smart IP portfolios and developing robust IP strategies for clients. He is driven towards working with innovators in obtaining optimal positioning of their IP assets.

Elizabeth focuses on patent prosecution, responding to office actions and patent landscaping in Canada. Elizabeth has extensive expertise in civil engineering as a Professional Engineer and through her experience of working in the consulting industry as an Engineer and Project Manager.
