Antaneeta’s practice focuses on providing IP services, including patent and trademark filing and prosecution, as well as assisting on IP strategy.

Prior to joining Own Innovation, Antaneeta practiced as a litigator and served as a fellow at Osgoode Hall’s IP Innovation Clinic, where she supported clients through patentability and trademark searches, and assisted on innovation and commercialization strategies.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from McMaster University, where she was involved in IP due diligence for medical device and vaccine development projects, through the McMaster Industry Liaison Office (MILO) and St. Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton. She completed her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leicester and a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School. Antaneeta brings a blend of legal acumen and scientific insight to her work, helping innovators safeguard and leverage their intellectual property effectively.
